Dear members and interested in UBC Gender Commission! On behalf of the Chair of the Gender Commission of UBC - Mrs. Aurora Moberg - I have the great pleasure of inviting you to our Commission meeting which will take place in the City of Tallinn during 17-18/4. My name is Helene Brewer and I am the new coordinator for the UBC Gender Commission, with the Chair and secretariat based in the city of Umeå in Sweden. I met some of you at the meeting in December in Umeå, where we also planned for the Tallinn meeting. I am looking forward to meeting new and old friends again in Tallinn. We will have many interesting topics to discuss and tasks to work with during these two days and I hope we will see many of members in the Commission taking part in this meeting. One of the issues that was decided at the December meeting is that the Commission is going to arrange a conference in Tallinn in September, concerning the topic of prostitution and human trafficking, so this is one of the topics to work with during the meeting. Details for program, venue and times etc. will be sent out shortly. This is just a reminder for the meeting. I would also like to remind members of the possibility to apply for help with travel/accomodation costs if you are representing a city from a Convergence region.
