A series of lectures on the theme of Futuromania show the utopias, ideal images of housing and urban construction. The plastic house Futuro, the suburbs of the 1950s and 1970s, various playgrounds in homes and workplaces, and the Pori Aarre architecture plan will have a special look. Launched in 1968, Futuro is an ellipsoid plastic house designed by architect Matti Suuronen, which encapsulates experimental forms of space architecture and design in the late 1960s, new materials and optimistic ideas. Art historian Marko Home tells about the colorful stages of Futuro from around the world from the 1960s to the present day.
