The TEIA (Transboundary Environmental Information Agency) is an independent non-profit organization, which publishes a bi-weekly bulletin called "Transboundary and Environmental News" (TEN) covering the border region of the Baltic states, Finland and Northwest Russia. TEIA also maintains a website, www.teia.org with back issues of the bulletin and other information.
TEIA´s goal is to promote international cooperation on a non-governmental level by assisting in the distribution of information across border areas. The TEN-bulletin focuses on newly available information on economic, environmental and social problems of the region. In addition, it boasts a section for conferences, events and meetings. TEN is available in English and Russian and is free of charge.
TEN is distributed at no cost to non-profit organizations, educational institutions and mass media organizations of the region by e-mail and fax. Subscription requests can be made by e-mail or by fax to +7 812 312 4128 (indicate Box 275).
