The 8th edition of SEMIC, the annual semantic interoperability conference, will be held in Sofia, Bulgaria on 14 June 2018. The event, organised by the ISA2 Programme of the European Commission in collaboration with the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU, will bring together policy makers, IT practitioners and researchers interested in topics related to semantic interoperability for public administration.
The event aims to promote healthiness and happiness by bringing the community together to participate in the “Happiest 5k on the Planet”. This unique event is organised around the world, among others, in the USA, China, Australia, Africa, most of the countries in Europe, and Poland! The Color Run is a five-kilometer, un-timed event in which thousands of participants, or “Color Runners”, are doused from head to toe in different colors at each kilometer. After Color Runners complete the race, the fun continues with an unforgettable Finish Festival.

First edition of Gdynia Aerobaltic 2017 came to an end with a huge success. 8 hours of skyward aerobatics, many on ground attractions, abundant audio-visual show program brought up all together smiles and admiration among our spectators whose number exceeded 200 000 within two days. Most of all, Gdynia Aerobaltic 2018 means secondo location – Gdynia Babie Doły Airport and also additional day of air show, enriched program of static display and dynamic displays.
Already for more than 20 years runners take a challenge to complete a 42-kilometer route connecting Gdańsk, Sopot and Gdynia. Apart from its sport character, the event has a patriotic meaning.
The WIND and WATER fair is the largest expo event in the Polish water sports industry calendar and an important event in the European market. The first fair took place in 1990, then 2006 saw the first summer edition of the Fair on Water. The fair in Gdynia Marina presents over 100 yachts and boats with watersport equipment from nearly 150 exhibitors from Poland and abroad.

The world’s most prestigious triathlon races take place in Hawaii under the name of the Ironman World Championship, where participants struggle with what is called the Full Ironman distance.
Gdynia Sailing Days is the first international sailing regatta to take place in Poland and is included in the ranking of the International Sailing Federation (ISAF).
The importance of this event is reflected in the fact that it includes championship regattas at world and European levels every year. This is also why Gdynia Sailing Days attracts the attention of the best sailors from Poland and from all over the world.
The first Polish edition of a global cycling marathon series for amateurs Gran Fondo NY. GFNY World events are organized in ca. 15 different countries with dozens of thousands of riders taking part in the whole series. You can choose one of the two courses - 80 km (medio fondo) and 136 km (gran fondo). Both will start and finish on the Kosciuszko Square in Gdynia. And both will be fully closed to traffic. The motto of this event says “Be a pro for a day”.
An extreme running event that requires a lot of stamina. Some of the obstacles are: walking in mud, jumping, running through thick bushes, climbing high walls, crawling under entanglements.
