The UBC warmly welcomes a new member city, Tauragė!
With 42 000 residents, Tauragė is located in in the Southwest of Lithuania, in Tauragė County.
Tauragė region is justly proud of its green and ecological environment. For example, the region produces more power from ecological sources than it consumes.
Tauragė develops complex measures of transport, energy, waste management and water treatment that will be implemented in the upcoming years.
Tauragė is looking for especially sustainably oriented contacts and partnerships.
The 2016/2017 call for applications is now open and will be closed on 1 February 2017
Projects must create conditions for lasting relations between organisations. Applicants can apply for up to SEK 500,000 in funding. Please note that the main applicant must be a Swedish organisation.
The project activities must be aimed at developing conditions for long-lasting sustainable relations between organisations in the Baltic Sea region.
