Introduction
The Union of the
Baltic Cities' core organisation consists of the Presidium, the Executive
Board and the Secretariat.
The President of the UBC is:
Mr Per Bødker Andersen, Mayor of Kolding, Denmark
The Vice-Presidents are:
Mrs Marie-Louise Rönnmark, Mayor of Umeå, Sweden
Mrs Urve Tiidus, Mayor of Kuressaare, Estonia
Mr Jarkko Virtanen, Deputy Mayor of Turku, Finland
The UBC Secretariat
The UBC secretariat is situated in Gdańsk, Poland
and led by the Secretary General, Mr Paweł Żaboklicki.
Anna Sośnicka and Anna Dargiewicz are the
very helpful administrative assistants in the Secretariat.
The General Conference
The General Conference is the highest decision making body
of the UBC and it convenes every second year in a UBC
Member City.
The Executive Board
The Executive Board consists of one member city from each
of ten countries surrounding the Baltic Sea.
The present Board is presented in the organisational
chart.
