Nathalie Stuben

Without alcohol - the best decision of my life

Nathalie Stüben is in her early 30s and is working successfully as a journalist when she has to admit to herself: I'm addicted to alcohol, it can't go on like this. She goes into rehab on her own, starts researching and encounters one inconsistency after the next: why do we differentiate between alcohol and drugs? How can I be addicted even though I don't drink every day? Why do I have to call myself an "alcoholic" if I quit? And is abstinence possibly not a waiver at all?
